» Success Story - Arieana Breckinridge
By the time she was 5 years old, Arieana Breckenridge had already been through five surgeries to repair birth defects in her bladder and bowels. That's why it was all the more shocking to her father when Arieana's kidneys failed completely and she was put on dialysis. Her only hope for long-term survival was a kidney transplant. Arieana spent two years on dialysis, waiting for a donor kidney to become available.
In 2010, the call came. With the help of multiple physicians and medical professionals at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, Arieana received her much-needed transplant and has been thriving ever since.
