
Grace Serra is a Detroit artist who has
worked as public arts coordinator and arts educator for almost thirty years.
In 2004 she began the Children's Hospital of Michigan Healing Arts Program and continues to head it today.
Serra is a Wayne State University graduate, who earned a
masters of fine art degree in painting at the Dominican University in Florence, Italy and received
a second master’s degree in Arts Administration from Eastern Michigan University
in 2006. S
ince 1991 she
has served on the faculty of Henry Ford College, where she teaches studio arts and art history classes.
