Something Special Gift Shop
The Children’s Hospital of Michigan Auxiliary was established in 1949 and is focused on raising funds to assist various departments and programs at the Hospital. The Auxiliary continues to have, as its singular goal, financial support for projects and programs that directly benefit patients and their families. The Something Special Gift Shop provides the primary source of the funds used for these projects and programs.
Since 1990, more than $3.36 million has been donated to various Children’s Hospital of Michigan departments, programs and projects. Recent grants have been provided for:
- SNUG suits for children with neuromuscular disorders
- Clinical genetics services
- Project Challenge/Camp Hope, a therapeutic summer day camp
- Amplification equipment for newly identified deaf infants
- Equipment for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
For your convenience, you may now shop online for someone special at the Something Special Gift Shop and have gift item(s) delivered directly to the recipient. We honor all major credit cards.
