Welcome and thank you for visiting the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Web site. In this section you will learn of the clinical services we offer at Children’s which include general pediatrics as well as all of the pediatric subspecialties. In addition, you will learn of our Centers of Excellence -- Cancer, Neuroscience, Cardiac Sciences and Neonatology/Perinatology -- as well as programs including our Sickle Cell Center, Autism Center, Sports Medicine Program and Sleep Disorder Program.
Each clinical service description will include an overview of the service we provide, the conditions we treat, and new innovations in care. You will also learn about our doctors who provide this care. We will give you information on the location of these services and a telephone number to make appointments and to request more information. We also include information about common conditions likely to be treated by our clinicians. For example, in our Cardiac Science section you can learn about common problems associated with heart rhythm and a child’s perspective of living with a pacemaker.
All of our clinical services share common values -- to provide the highest quality of clinical care to our children, to inform that care through research innovations and to ensure that your children have access to the care they need. We take pride that Children’s Hospital has been recognized as one of Americas Best 25 Children’s Hospitals by Parents Magazine. Should you require further information, please contact us or call 313-745-KIDS (5437) or toll-free 888-DMC-2500.
