DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan is the state’s first American College of Surgeons verified, free-standing Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. The hospital provides exceptional care, around the clock, to injured children and families from time of injury through recovery and rehabilitation.
Through collaboration and teamwork, a multitude of pediatric experts work tirelessly to help the injured child and family.
Children’s Hospital of Michigan offers a state of the art intensive care unit, step-down unit, burn center and full-service emergency department. The imaging department provides 24-hour emergency CT scans, angiographies and other diagnostic procedures to aid in the treatment of the injured child. Additionally, an operating room is reserved for trauma patients 24 hours a day.
