Our Services and Specialties

Specialists on staff in psychiatry/psychology at the Children's Hospital of Michigan at the Detroit Medical Center provide a variety of consultative and treatment services for preschoolers, children, and adolescents. The department focuses on specialty services designed to address many of the emotional and behavioral needs of the medically ill patients who are seen at the Children's Hospital of Michigan. Clinical staff, and trainees see patients in select outpatient clinics, in consultation to the pediatric units and emergency department, and for specialized treatment services.

Complete diagnostic and consultation services are available for:

  • Neuropsychological Evaluation

Treatment services are offered to chronically medically ill children and adolescents through individual, family and play therapy.
