DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan’s Orthopaedics program is ranked among America's best in U.S. News Media Group's 2012-13 Best Children's Hospitals survey.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan offers comprehensive care of all aspects of pediatric orthopaedics, including those present at birth and those due to injury or trauma. Services include diagnosis as well as surgery and non-operative treatment.
The department is very sensitive to the questions of young patients and their families. It offers detailed patient and parent education by a dedicated and highly trained pediatric orthopaedic nurse as well as multimedia teaching presentations. The waiting area is filled with toys, a child-friendly computer station as well as other amenities.
The Department also offers convenient child-friendly services in metropolitan Detroit including locations at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit as well as specialty centers in Canton and Clinton Township.
