Jacks' Tree House
Jack's Tree House is a unique play space within the hospital that's not just for patients, but also siblings! Families are welcome to visit as a group so all may play together, or perhaps a patient's brother or sister may wish to spend some time while parents/caregivers attend a doctor's appointment.
Here is some helpful information to know:
- Jacks' Trre House is located on the main level of the hospital right off of the main lobby near the parking garage entrance.
- To enter the space, please ring the doorbell and a team member will let you in.
- Patients and siblings of all ages are welcome to visit during an outpatient visit or inpatient admission.
- Patients and siblings can stay in the playroom without parents/caregivers.
- For kids who are not potty trained, parents/caregivers will need to return to assist their child/change their diaper.
- If a patient is on isolation precautions, for the safety of all this family would not be able to visit Jack's Tree House.
- Parents/guardians must remain inside the main hospital for the entire duration of their child's visit to Jack's Tree House and be available by phone. Jack's Tree House is not available for families visiting the specialty center or Harper NICU.
If you have any additional questions, including the daily hours of Jacks's Tree House, please speak with your nurse or child life specialist.
