Meet the PANDA One Team

PANDA One is Michigan’s only dedicated pediatric and neonatal transport service, and consists of 20 team members. The team transports over 1,500 patients to Children’s Hospital of Michigan each year from hospitals across the Michigan, surrounding states, and Ontario, Canada with their two ground ambulance rigs.
Each team member progresses through a rigorous six-month orientation process, where many specialty skills, unique to emergency pediatric patient transport are acquired. Additionally, as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and Designated Pediatric Burn Center, the PANDA team is part of the impressive multidisciplinary teams treating some of the most challenging of pediatric injuries in the region.
